The boil water order notice issued on Sept. 23, 2021 has been rescinded as of 12 p.m. Sept. 25, 2021.

The order was issued following a water main break at N. Main Street and Montcrief Drive in Belton on Sept. 23, 2021. While the repair was made, water service was temporarily disrupted, or low pressures were experienced in this area. Water service was restored by 2 a.m. on Sept. 23, 2021.

Sept. 24, 2021

Due to a water main break at N. Main Street and Moncreif Drive on Thursday, September 23, 2021, residents living on Moncrief Drive, Peacock Drive, and Mystic River Neighborhood (Mystic River Drive, Paradise Drive, Pecan Meadow Drive, Rivers Edge Drive) are advised to boil their water before consumption.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, City staff will notify residents in the affected area that the water is safe for consumption.
