Contact the Utility Billing Department during normal business hours on weekdays to start, stop, or transfer utility service.
To establish new service, go to the New Residents section under the Community tab to complete an application or complete an application in person at the Utility Billing Department, 100 S. Davis. Proper ID, a deposit and a fee for new service are required.
Transferring or stopping service may be done by telephone, 254-933-5800, or by visiting the office in person, 100 S. Davis Street.
Utility Account Features and Services
Belton utility accounts have several features to assist residents with account management.
Online Bill Payment
Make payments with a credit or debit card by logging into your online account.
Those without an online account may also make payments without logging in by using the Quick Pay feature.
Effective April 30, 2019, citizens can also schedule re-occurring credit card payments online using the new Auto Pay feature. Please keep in mind that late fees and disconnection may still occur if payments are scheduled past the account due date.
To view billing statements online visit your online account and select the account detail tab. From here customers may view, print, or download statements.
E-Billing is a convenient, fast and paperless way to receive account statements. To receive statements by e-mail register for E-Billing.
Water Consumption Monitoring
Monitor water consumption, see account statements, and pay online all in one location. Set alerts to be notified of high water consumption by text, email, or phone. These alerts have helped some residents to identify water leaks in a timely manner. The service is free to Belton water customers, but registration is required.
