logoThe City of Belton hosts, co-hosts, partners, and participates in many special events throughout the year. The goal for our events is to bring the community together and enhance the quality of life.
Events provide meaningful activities for children and give families a reason to get out of the house. If you are looking for a great place to host an event, contact the Belton Parks and Recreation office, which can walk you through the steps.
Belton is a beautiful city with great amenities. The best way to stay in the know regarding our events is to subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter!

Volunteers raking leaves for One Community One DayOne Community One Day

One Community One Day is a community-wide service project organized by Belton’s YAC (Youth Advisory Commission) and the Parks & Recreation Department. The goal is to assist Belton residents with yard work, painting, or minor repairs. Residents apply for assistance at the Harris Community Center or online through the city’s website. Following a review process, homes are selected for assistance.

This year, One Community One Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Bait provided while supplies last. No fishing license is required during the event.  This year's dates are December 15 & 28, 2023.
