Boil Water Notice Issued for Belton Water Customers East of I-35

A boil water notice has been issued for City of Belton water customers in the vicinity of the Leon River, Interstate 35 and E. 6th Avenue due to a water main break near 1100 E. 6th Avenue. Water should be boiled prior to consumption.

The boil water notice is required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). 

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public will be notified that the water is safe for consumption in the same manner as this notice and/or on the City’s website at www.beltontexas.gov.
