The victims killed in the Loop 121 crash on Saturday are Trey Swenson, 26, from Elgin, and Elizabeth Zeilinger, 26, from Buda.
The head-on collision occurred at about 11:50 a.m. on Saturday in the 700 block of W. Loop 121. It involved three vehicles, a gold Buick SUV, Gray GMC SUV, and a white commercial truck.
Swenson and Zeilinger died at the scene. Three people were transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, and Loop 121 was closed for several hours.
Belton Fire Department and Texas Department of Public safety assisted the Belton Police Department at the scene. The crash being investigated by the Belton crash team.

On Saturday, January 8, 2022, at approximately 11:50 a.m., the Belton Police Department responded to a head on collision in the 700 block of W Loop 121.
Multiple extrications were required and 2 occupants were deceased on arrival.
The vehicles involved included a gold Buick SUV, Gray GMC SUV, and a white commercial truck.
