Name of Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident Released

Following notification of next of kin, the Belton Police Department has released the name of a man killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on E. 6th Avenue on Monday.

David Earnest Zavala, 28, died after being struck by a car in the 1000 block of E. 6th Avenue. The crash occurred at around 8:10 p.m. The Belton Police Crash Team is investigating. No foul play is suspected.
