Notice of Public Hearing on Renaming Confederate Park and Confederate Park Drive

The Belton City Council will conduct a Public Hearing at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22, to receive input regarding the adoption of an ordinance renaming Confederate Park, and Confederate Park Drive beginning in the vicinity of Beal Street and extending to I-35. Face coverings will be required to be worn at the meeting where social distancing cannot be maintained.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS: Persons with disabilities who have special communication or accommodation needs, and desire to participate in the City Council Meeting, should notify the City Clerk’s office by calling 933-5817 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting date.
