Precautionary Boil Water Notice Rescinded

The boil water order that was issued on October 25, 2019, has been rescinded. The residents affected were notified via the City’s website, newspaper news sources, the City’s CodeRed system, and social media notifications the morning of October 26, 2019.

The order was issued following a water main break along E 6th Ave/FM93 in the 1300 block of E 6th Ave, Belton, Texas on October 25, 2019. While the repair was made, water service was temporarily disrupted or low pressures were experienced for some property owners within the area of west of IH-35, east of Continental Street, north of E 2nd Ave, and includes the neighborhood of East and West Comay north of E 6th Ave, Palmetto, Forest, Wohleb, River, Live Oak, and Elm Streets. Water service was restored by 4:00 am on October 26, 2019.
