Belton City Council to Consider Naming Youth Baseball Complex

IMG_1476aaAt a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, March 28, the Belton City Council will consider a proposal to name the Baseball complex at Heritage Park, 100 Park Ave., after a former youth league player who passed away in November 2016 following a battle with cancer.

The proposed name for the facility is Jace Jefferson Baseball Complex, which was brought forth by the Belton Youth Baseball Association, and unanimously approved by the Parks Board on Monday, March 6.

Please direct any comments or concerns to Parks and Recreation Director Matt Bates, 254-933-5860 or mbates@beltontexas.gov. He will share feedback he receives with the Belton City Council prior to its deliberations on the matter.
