SALE OF REAL ESTATE
City of Belton, Texas
The City of Belton is offering for sale, by sealed bids, the following tract:
A 3.375 acre tract located generally 450’ north of Chisholm Trail Parkway, between Canyon Heights Road and Spring Canyon Road. The site is located east and south of a proposed Belton water tower site to be located on Lot 1, Block 1 Amending Plat Dawson Ranch-Regatta Oaks HOA Addition. Bidders shall include proposed cash compensation, as well as the commitment to provide a minimum 50’ public street right-of-way or a 50’ City of Belton public utility easement for access between Chisholm Trail Parkway and the proposed Belton water tower site.
Sealed bids shall be received until 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2018, at the City Clerk’s Office, Belton City Hall, 333 Water Street, Belton, Texas, or by mail at P.O. Box 120, Belton, Texas 76513.
Bids must be in a sealed envelope, clearly marked: “BID ON REAL ESTATE” with the name and mailing address of the bidder printed on the outside of the envelope. Bids received after 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2018, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bids must be made on the City’s bid form. The City of Belton reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any formality in the bidding process, and to accept the bid which it determines will provide the best benefit for the City of Belton. The City may accept a bid that is lower than the highest bid received.
