Precautionary Boil Water Notice Rescinded

Precautionary Boil Water Notice Rescinded
April 19, 2018
The boil water notice issued on April 17, 2018 has been rescinded. Affected residents who are registered with CodeRED will be notified via automated text message or phone call. The City also informed the public on its website, Facebook, Twitter and by contacting local media on the afternoon of April 19, 2018.

The order was issued following a water line break E. 6th Avenue on April 17, 2018. While the repair was made, water service was temporarily disrupted for some residents who lived in the vicinity of the break. By law, the City is required to issue a boil order when a repair requires such measures. Water service was restored by 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.

Please contact City of Belton Public Works Department, 254-933-5823, with any questions about this matter.
