Police Release Picture of Suspect Vehicle in Shooting Death

Suspect VehicleThe Belton Police Department today released a picture of a vehicle that was used in the shooting death of Redrick Robinson, which occurred on Saturday, Sept. 30. Detectives are seeking assistance from the public to help identify two men involved in the shooting.

The vehicle is believed to be a light-colored, 2011 or newer, Ford Explorer. The image was taken from video surveillance near the crime scene, which was at a home in the 800 block of Carla Kay Drive. Although the image is small and somewhat blurry, police hope somebody can help connect it to the assailants.

BeltonPD_sketch_10-10-2017This is the second piece of evidence in the case that Belton PD has released to the public. On Oct. 11, Belton PD released a sketch of one of the suspects, who is described as having a medium build with a height between 5’5 – 5’7. 

No drawing has been provided of the second suspect, who is described as having a medium build with a height between 5’10 – 6’01.  

At about 4:54 a.m. on Sept. 30, a witness called 9-1-1 and reported the shooting. Police found evidence of forced entry to the home. Robinson, 30, was shot multiple times. Police found him dead in bedroom of the house.
