Library to Host Entrepreneur Workshop

A free workshop, Being Your Own Boss, is set for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, at Belton's Lena Armstrong Public Library, 301 E. 1st Avenue. This workshop addresses the fundamentals of starting a business and helps prepare people for self-employment. The workshop is available thanks to a partnership between the Belton Economic Development Corporation and the Central Texas Business Resource Center, which provides high-quality business counseling, training and assistance to potential and existing small business owners.

Licensing and permit information will also be provided. The workshop will help potential and existing entrepreneurs and current small business managers learn more about the Grow Belton program and the availability of community resources.

Although there is no cost to attend, registration is required at least one day in advance. To register call (254) 200-2001 or e-mail marcusc@workforcelink.com.
