Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day set for Oct. 3

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day is open to residents from Bell County and six other nearby counties. It will be in Temple, 3210 E. Ave. H, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 3. Items accepted include electronics, batteries, paint, motor oil, antifreeze, household cleaners, household chemicals, pesticides, flammables, and corrosives. Must show proof of residency (driver's license, water bill).
