Belton residents are invited to participate in a Community Engagement Meeting at the Harris Community Center at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 7. The meeting is a chance for residents to participate in the development of a plan for the future of Belton's parks. Light refreshments will be served.
For the past month an online survey about parks has been available for Belton residents to complete. The Community Engagement Meeting is an extension of the effort to gather responses from residents to ensure that future parks considerations are in line with the desires of those who live in Belton.
A second Community Engagement Meeting will be scheduled for late spring.
Once the public input period is finished, the responses will be used to help develop a Parks Master Plan and determine priority items for future development.
