Men Arrested in Connection with Belton Robbery

IMG_0376cipTwo Killeen men have been arrested in connection with a robbery that occurred at Longhorn Grocery on Aug. 9.

Tavion Jolivet, 20, and Timothy Johnson, 19, are each charged with aggravated robbery. They were apprehended by Grand Prairie Police and the Texas Rangers. The men will both be transferred to Bell County to face charges.

There is evidence the men were also involved in other armed robberies in Bell County, and additional charges are anticipated. Police are seeking to speak with at least one other person of interest in the Belton robbery.

Criminal charges are merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
