Retail Development Incentives

Belton is committed to the promotion of quality development and expansion of its existing business base. The city council desires to improve economic development incentives and to establish various programs to ensure the city remains competitive in the marketplace, encourages increases and retention of quality jobs, encourages revenue streams from commercial, industrial and manufacturing businesses that maintain or increase the taxable values of their business personal property.

The following incentives are determined on a case-by-case basis taking into consideration the scale and scope of the project and subject to the approval of the Belton City Council:
