Water Service
City of Belton comes from Bell County Water Control & Improvement District No. 1, which draws and treats water from Lake Belton.

  • View usage trends and projected billing

What you need to sign-up
  • Email address
  • Name and service address
  • Account number (located at the top of the bill in the format xx-xxxx-xx)

Steps to sign-up
  • Register

New Service
A $100 deposit is required to establish utility service with the City. The deposit is credited to your account when service is either terminated, or upon completion of one year’s good credit history. In addition, a $20, non-refundable new service fee is required upon application.

For many customers, a bank draft is the most convenient payment option. Customers who choose this option still receive a bill, with the notation "Do Not Pay - Bank Draft". Payments are transferred from the prescribed bank account on the due date of the bill.

For our customers' convenience, an after-hours drop box is located on the south end of the Finance Building, 100 S. Davis Street, adjacent to the drive-through window. Please do not make cash payments in the drop box. The City also accepts credit card payments, and online utility bill payments. A 4% processing fee is added for all credit card payments.

Residential Rates (updated 08/2016)
0 -- 2,000 gallons $16 minimum
more than 2,000 gallons $3.70 per 1,000 gallons

0 -- 2,000 gallons $13 minimum

Service Concerns
