The City of Belton, Texas, has concluded its search for a Finance Director, and has selected Brandon Bozon to lead the Finance Department.
Mr. Bozon is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). For the past three and one half years, he has been employed at KPMG, in Dallas, Texas, where he is currently a Senior Associate. KPMG is a major U.S. financial services firm specializing in tax, audit, and related advisory services for public and private clients.
As a financial professional, Mr. Bozon brings many assets to Belton, including:
• BBA in Accounting and MS in Finance• Certified Public Accountant• An experienced team leader who manages with open collaboration, setting expectations, and ensuring clear communication• Technical, managerial, and communication skills needed for financial analysis and problem resolution• A passion for work and achievement of the City’s goals
Mr. Bozon was born in Belton, graduated from Belton High School, and received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University.
“I am pleased Brandon has accepted the position as Belton Finance Director and will be coming home,” City Manager Sam Listi said. “His familiarity with Belton makes him eager to serve and become part of a dynamic and growing community where he can make a positive contribution. Belton will continue to excel with Mr. Bozon leading the Finance Department in the years ahead.”
The Finance Director selection process began in November 2013. The City received 24 applications, conducted five telephone interviews, and three face-to-face interviews. Mr. Bozon replaces Finance Director Cristy Daniell, who will retire at the end of March after more than 22 years of outstanding service.

Mr. Bozon will begin his duties as Belton’s Finance Director on Monday, March 31, 2014.
