Early Voting Begins Monday for Special Election

Early voting is set to begin Monday for a Special Election on Proposition "A," which seeks to change the alcohol laws in Belton to allow the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages, including mixed beverages.

The early voting location is Belton City Hall, 333 Water Street. Early voting days and hours are:

• April 22-26, 2024, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• April 29-30, 2024, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Election Day is Saturday, May 4, 2024. The polling place will be the Evans Room at the Harris Community Center, 401 N. Alexander. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
